So now that i finally got my ADHD meds back, i can get back to art
I decided to try out a concept piece showing the skyline of Sky City Miria as a quick easy way for me to get back into the art mood / swing of things before i get back to my commission work.
So yeah, nothing else to this thing really. i did a quick thing showing an idea as to what Sky Miria would look like. It's labeled "1" because i plan on doing more of these every so often, as they aren't particularly difficult for me to do, compared to those absurdly detailed character concepts ive done. Anyway, in the air, we see a flock of lapiaires going about their day in whatever way a fish-bird thing would do. speaking of, i should make something showing how fishing (in the sky) would work in this world... As for the colouring of this, i wanted it to look like one of those old (colour) movies where they have weird colour gradients / lighting contrasts
I'm mixed about how this turned out. In the future, i think i'll do a better job at these, since i now have a better idea about how to go about some of this stuff now. I wanted to add some cloud waves and stuff, but that didn't work out with this particular picture. But that's what happens when you try something new. Oh well, maybe next time!

I'm from New York and it reminds me of an arieal view of central park ! The rabbit birds remind me of pigeons lol. . .I've always enjoyed pigeons - in NY they get so brave/ballsey that some will walk right next to people with no fear O.o!
Like seriously, I've nudged a few out of my way while walking to work and they spin around (while flapping their wings furiously of course) as I walk by and stare as if to say: "wtf?"
