hey guys, you may be wondering why i haven't posted any art in a... very long time. I mean, i have art done, but i just can't post it yet.
so if you've seen some of those status things ive posted here, you'll have a general idea of it. a character i made needed a backstory, and i went a little too hard with it.
it's at 25000 words now. that's half of what a japanese light novel is.
I'm not a writer. I am 100% an amateur, so i can't just pump out that shit, but i am trying to get it done ASAP! I am on the final bit of the story, so you will see it soon. It's a neat little story ive made with a bunch of characters in it, including a preview of a character i intend to fully design later. I do hope you all like it when it gets released. I've worked very hard on it. and don't worry, I'm on an art marathon afterwards.

my plan for 2019
2019 WILL BE THE YEAR OF FULLY INVESTED GAME DEVELOPMENT
my goals for 2019, for my game, are:
1. finish the writing
2. finalize all important character designs
3. storyboard / have animatics of all cutscenes, and sketch out a general idea of all in-game scenes / locations in the game
4. have a playable version of it / a demo (mainly for myself, not the public)
and once i finish all of that, i can do the good art C:
also, making music for it is something that's probably just gonna be peppered out throughout production as it happens

this year was both kind of a mess and the start of a new part of my life. i can
New Years Resolution
so with my computer all up and ready, i figured id type out my new years resolution:
i just want to get more art done. this past year has been awful for productivity for me. from the drastic shift in my art style and art process to be much more realistic, to the myriad of problems with my computer crashing on me and being underpowered, everything led to me being overwhelmed by my own art and what it is i had to do to make that art.
i love making art, but the worst part for me is the very beginning of it; having to plan out everything and being freaked out by how much work i'm gonna have to do. there are plenty of things i wanna draw, but i

Just got back from The Penti-Con
just got back from The Penti-Con. I had a ton of fun there! definitely going back next year~
so this event marks the time when i finally figured out a better sorting system for my prints. it is gonna be MUCH easier to find them now at future events. I also figured out a new addition to my setup that really adds to it, though that requires me to continue having my tremendous luck of always being stationed at a corner or by a door (which actually makes my life waaaaaaay easier when setting up) :P
but yeah, i met a lot of really cool people today. some awesome cosplays, adorable outfits, and generally cool people ^^ quite a few actually knew m
