remember that awesome scene from fantasia with mickey mouse bringing brooms to life and such? weeeeeell, i ponyfied it
with filly trixie instead of mickey under that awesome blue hat ^^
i tried to make it as much like the original scene as possible
i even added stuff like an old film texture (

) and noise to make it look like it is old enough to have actually been from a scene in fantasia
i would really love it and appreciate it if you would critique this pleaaaaase ^^

Originality Technique ImpactThis is a fantastic piece of fanart. It takes the best elements from our childhood (then and now) and pieces it together to create something very special. It reminds us all that we are still young inside.
Trixie's eyes are slightly out of proportion and her right eye appears to be looking a us instead of the broom, but these are only small details. Her facial expression is priceless, it's the look of both youth that does relate to each and everyone of us. The look of seeing opening our first present time. Priceless.
The brushstrokes are strange, they are very different to the original cartoon of which this fanart is inspired by. So, I will assume that they are not based on the cartoon. They seem of much higher detail and quality compared to Trixie. Maybe it's just me.
The shadowing on Trixie is great.
Personally, the texture is a bit too grainy for me. I would have preferred if you chose to try and get the same texture seen in the original cartoon. It would be much more charming.
DAT TRIXIE STANCE. Love it.
